Aaloo Paalak (Potato and Spinach)

  • 2 bunches Spinach leaves (Paalak)
  • 3 medium Potatoes
  • 4 small Tomatoes
  • 4 Green Chillies
  • 1 teaspoon Mustard seeds (Rai)
  • 2 teaspoons Garam Masala Powder
  • 1/4 teaspoon Turmeric powder (Haldi)
  • Salt to taste
  • 4 teaspoons Cooking Oil
  • Instructions:

    (1) Wash the spinach and chop it.

    (2) Wash and cook the potatoes. Peel potato skin and smash them.

    (3) Chop the tomatoes.

    (4) Take oil in a pan, add mustard seeds and Turmeric Powder and fry well.

    (5) Add chopped green chillis and fry.

    (6) Add chopped tomatoes, potatoes, spinach, some water and stir.

    (7) Add salt, Garam Masala Powder and cook it for a few minutes or until Spinach is cooked.
